Ms. Maurer joined our church staff in 2013. Joyce works with our adult vocal choir, adult handbell choir, and our youth handchime choir. During the past several years, she has written anthems for choirs and soloists. In 2020 she wrote a hymn for our church’s 175th anniversary. Joyce is a member and past-dean of the Reading Chapter of The American Guild of Organists where she has earned her service playing certificate. During this pandemic season, Joyce shares her talents and supervises the music that is chosen for each Sunday, in order to maintain the agreement of our CCLI license, for our live-streaming and in-person church service(This is no small undertaking).
